On the last day of Mrs George’s working carer we presented her with a special blue peter badge! We also enjoyed a lovely country dance, one of the many things Mrs George has taught us! We will miss you Mrs George!
Today we had some very interesting and unusual visitors to Nursery ………4 giant African land snails!!!! We were very brave and let the snails sit on our hands! Their owner gave us a fascinating talk all about how to care for them. Thank you so
Something very strange happened in our Nursery playground today! Mrs Ames heard a huge bang and went outside to investigate. She came to tell us she needed us to come and look outside too. We found a spaceship had crashed just inside our climbing frame!
The children in Nursery have enjoyed creating their own potions and magic spells. They did some fabulous mark making in our special spell making book.
We have had lots of fun carving the Nursery pumpkin for Halloween. Look at our special Halloween tangerines too!
Our Nursery children have had a fabulous time investigating colour mixing using powder paints. Look how independent they are being measuring small quantities of paint and water. They could also tell us what colours they used to create new colours. Well Done Nursery!
In Nursery, we have started to introduce our ‘Achievosaur Dinosaurs’. These very special dinosaurs teach the children about the different ways that they and their peers learn. This week we met the ‘Explorosaur’ dinosaur and talked to the children about exploring their surroundings.
