As part of the 100 years remembrance class 12 made an amazing effort with their costumes to celebrate the end of World War one. During the day class 12 participated in the remembrance service, educational activities and some spectacular country dancing in the ceili!
Class 12 had the opportunity to play with toys form World War I. They explored how to play with the toys and enjoyed learning the new games such as “Pick-up sticks”. A few favourites were the marbles, spinning top and the cup and ball.

Class 12 took part in Smithy Bridge Primary’s annual Choral Speaking competition on Thursday 28th June. They performed Paper People by Harry Baker. Here is a video of them performing the poem. They should be really proud of themselves for learning so a complex tongue
